Torts in New Zealand: Cases and Materials is the principal torts casebook in New Zealand. In its 5th edition, it builds on the success of previous editions and provides cases, materials and integrated commentary necessary for a comprehensive introduction to New Zealand tort law. The focus of the text is on New Zealand tort law. However the book uses many precedents from UK, Canadian and Australian case law to reflect the diverse sources of New Zealand tort law. Problem questions integrated throughout the book enable students to test their knowledge. New to this Edition Separate chapters for personal property torts, vicarious liability and privacy. Updated case law and legislation throughout.
